INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – A teenager died of his injuries following a Saturday night shooting in Independence.
Police responded to a shooting call on the 600th block of North Westwood Drive at around 7pm
Upon arrival, police found a 15-year-old man shot inside a property. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
Police say they are holding a person in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is continuing.
