TEEN Mom 2 star Ashley Jones clapped back at claims she was “homophobic” after saying kids should NOT be learning about LGBTQ issues in school.

The 24-year-old defended her thoughts in a new Instagram Story post.

After Ashley publicly said kids shouldn’t learn about LGBTQ issues in school, many MTV fans were quick to slam the mother as “homophobic.”

Ashley took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to clapping back at the critics and explaining her thoughts.

Alongside a sky photo from an airplane perspective, the Teen Mom 2 star wrote, “Everyone knows I’ve dated girls in the past and I consider myself a part of the LGBTQ+ community.

“However, I do NOT agree with children being taught anything other than ACADEMIC at school.”

She continued, “The conversations about sex and sexuality need to come from the parents when they feel their child is mentally ready to process that information.

“It’s not about being homophobic, it’s about I CHOOSING WHEN MY DAUGHTER IS EXPOSED TO WHAT and I, as her mother, have that right.”

On the next slide, she wrote, “I teach my daughter to love and accept everything.

“I don’t need to go into specifics, and I don’t need anyone to.

“Love is enough for a child to understand.”

Adding that “homophobia is taught,” Ashley said it’s a parent’s responsibility to “educate our own children.”

She closed the slides by insisting that school systems “push their limits as educators.”

Fans shared their reactions to Ashley’s recent Instagram Story post after fan account Teen Mom Chatter shared a screenshot.

While many said they “agree” with Ashley’s explanation, one person wrote, “She’s right. Sex education/guidance should not be taught to children who are easily impressed, especially by their teachers.

A following fan played devil’s advocate as they wrote: “Nice thought but we don’t all have parents to teach us. Sex education is extremely important in schools.”

BABY NUMBER TWO?

The TV personality recently sparked pregnancy rumors when she shared a photo of a sonogram on Instagram.

Earlier this month, Ashley posted the sonogram snap to her Instagram Stories, which expired after a day.

Although she seemingly hinted that she’s pregnant, fans noted that the picture appears to be from 2017, when she was pregnant with Holly.

Ashley was previously forced to shut down pregnancy rumors when fans asked about her weight gain.

“Everyone’s been asking me lately if I’m pregnant,” she shared on Instagram at the time. “It’s funny because a year ago I was so skinny everyone was worried.

“I am not pregnant. I weigh 150 pounds and I’m full all the time.”

When asked how she gained all that new weight, she said: “I just started eating anything and everything. I can’t recommend lol but it worked for me. I was a size 4, now I’m a size 10 at Zara.”

MARRIAGE PROBLEMS

In addition to dealing with pregnancy rumors, Ashley is believed to have marital issues with Bar.

Previously, however, she had reacted boldly and severely to rumors that the couple was on the verge of a divorce.

The Teen Mom 2 star shared a selfie of the two cuddling on holiday while celebrating Bar’s 25th birthday.

“Next time you ask why he’s not on my Insta, remember he’s in my… heart,” Ashley captioned the photo.

Bar also chimed in by writing, “Love you baby thanks for the trip. I had a great birthday.”
