CHELSEA Houska has been accused of copying an influencer’s nursery design after scoring on her own HGTV home renovation show.
Previously, fans criticized Teen Mom 2 for landing a new series despite having “no experience” in interior design.
Chelsea, 30, has now been accused of “copying” another Instagram influencer’s nursery design for her South Dakota Ranch.
One fan noticed striking similarities between her young daughter Walker’s room and a nursery owned by the social media star in Ohio.
The reality star used similar floral wallpaper, wooden slats, the same white crib with clear panels on the sides, and to tie it all together, the child’s name was written in the same fancy font as identical.
The sleazy fan shared a side-by-side collage of the images to Redditshows how indistinguishable the Chelsea incubator is from the influencers.
“In honor of Chelsea having a show on HGTV, here’s an image of her exactly replicating the IG influencers’ incubator,” they captioned the post.
Others expressed amazement at the lack of ingenuity, racing to comment to stone Chelsea for “copying” despite her latest venture on HGTV.
“Okay, she copied or inspired but that cot is ugly AF,” one person fumed.
“Be honest with yourself. She didn’t get the show because of her design skills,” one second quoted.
A third commented: “Because she’s taking on a show as if she’s being creative when she’s really just plagiarizing.”
“You know what upsets them when they’re invited to a TV show like this? That there are interior designers who have studied and worked to become good at what they do and here they are. I have two child-voiced designers who have just been handed everything on a plate,” another said sharply.
“There’s a professional company that does ALL CHELSEA DESIGNS but it’s Chelsea that gets to show off,” one last stated.
BACK TO TV
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Chelsea and her husband Cole DeBoer, 33, have scored a brand new reality show on HGTV called Farmhouse Fabulous.
The movie, which is set to premiere in 2023, will follow the couple as they help families remodel their homes.
Shortly after news of the show was announced, Teen Mom 2 fans flocked to Reddit to admit that they weren’t all that excited about the movie.
While sharing their reactions to the show, many MTV fans suggested that Chelsea and Cole didn’t have enough experience to help others build their dream homes.
One wrote: “Sooooo, what is their show really going to be about? Will they renovate/style the house every episode?
“Because, while their house is beautiful, it is only ONE home and it took them a while to hone the style and idiosyncrasies they wanted… I know Coke is very functional, but nothing about it. their screaming that they know what they’re doing with designing a house lol. ”
Another added: “Lame. I’m not interested in watching but she will probably get a ton more subscribers for this (kind of borderline explosion). ”
Teen Mom 2 star’s new project comes just a few months after she finished building Brand new South Dakota ranch.
However, the mother of four also did not receive compliments from fans after completing it.
Chelsea and Cole faced design backlash during construction last year, documented on their documents Instagram page of the homepage.
Couple sharing their daughter Layne, three, Walker, one, and son Watson, five, as well as 12-year-old daughter Aubree, whom she welcomed with ex Adam Lind.
