Teen killed: 15-year-old boy shot dead in north Harris County, HCSO says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) – A 15-year-old boy was shot dead in northern Harris County on Friday, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.

Around 10 a.m., deputies said they had responded to an unknown medical emergency at a vacant commercial area on the 1000 block of Cypress Preserve Park Drive.

A passerby reported that Bryan Galindo was bleeding and lying on the curb, HCSO says.

Upon arrival, deputies found Bryan suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
