“Targeted” shooting on Michigan Avenue injures two people

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A shooting that officers described as “targeted in nature” injured two people on Michigan Avenue Sunday morning, according to Buffalo police.

Officials said a 26-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were both struck by gunfire as they walked on the sidewalk in the 100 block of Michigan Avenue around 4:20 a.m.

Both victims were transported by ambulance to ECMC and are being treated for apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
