Super Bowl 2022: Halftime begins and how to watch it in the UK

2022 Super Bowl taking place on Sunday evening (February 13), promises to have an explosive mid-half show for viewers.
This year’s American Football event will take place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, when the Los Angeles Rams play the Cincinnati Bengals.
This will be the first time that the Super Bowl – one of the biggest sporting events of the year in the US – will return to the Los Angeles area.
To mark the occasion, the mid-season performance will feature a joint performance by five local music legends – Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar.

What time does the Super Bowl start?
The Super Bowl is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET or 11:30 a.m. GMT for UK viewers.

What time will recess start?
Although no exact time has been given, it is estimated that the break will begin around 8pm on the East Coast, which is around 1am in the UK.
How to watch the Super Bowl in the UK
Spectators can watch the match on BBC One as well as Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports NFL.
The game will also be streamed via the BBC website and the Sky Go app.

Who is performing?
Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar will perform together at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Eminem admitted in a recent interview that the experience was “upsetting”, but added that he was “blown away” by Dr Dre’s design for the performance.
