DENVER (KDVR) – Sunshine returns across the state on Christmas Day with mild temperatures along the Front Range.
Today’s highs will be in the mid-50s with strong afternoon winds. Low humidity values and strong winds enhance fire risk along the southern half of the Range ahead today.
Sunday brings snow back into the mountains with slight gusts of wind for the Front Ranges. Winds will turn southwest at 15-25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
After that, temperatures continued to drop in the last week of the year with peaks only coming in the mid-30s on Wednesday! Chances of snow moving back into the mountains by Tuesday and light snow possible through Thursday!
The end of the year looks mild with peaks in the mid-40s and mostly sunny skies.
