Student removed from University Hill University due to prior threats

LOOKING DISTRICT, Colo. (KDVR) – Boulder Valley School District reported that University Hill Elementary students are being transferred to the BVSD Education Center due to police activity near the school.
The Boulder Police Department said there was an individual barricaded in the vicinity of the campus who had previously threatened University Hill.
BVSD says parents can pick up students starting at 10 a.m. at the BVSD Education Center at 6500 E. Arapahoe Rd. in Boulder.
The incident started around 8am when BVSD indicates that the field is initially set to secure lock mode.
