Strictly speaking, Tyler West is the eighth celebrity to leave the show after stepping on Molly Rainford in the dance-off

Tyler West is the eighth contestant to leave Be sure to come dance.
Saturday night’s show (November 19) saw the final eight couples compete on the Tower Ballroom stage as the dance competition returned to Blackpool for the first time in three years.
Fleur East topped the leaderboard with a perfect 40 score, but was just near the top and middle, with three pairs earning all 35 points. You can see the full ranking here.
During the results show on Sunday night (November 20), Tyler West and his partner Dianne Buswell and Molly Rainford and her partner Carlos Gu found themselves in the dance-off after they both scored 35 points.
After dancing again, the judges agreed that both couples had danced better in their second performances.
Craig Revel Horwood said: “Wow, both couples danced so much better, really. Tyler, incredible hips, incredible this time. Molly, lighter, brighter, much more precise. That’s really difficult for me for the first time this season.”
Shirley Ballas agreed, saying “this is probably one of the toughest dance-offs we’ve ever had to pick.”

Anton Du Beke said that “none of these couples in the competition deserved to be here,” adding that both “could easily have reached the final.”
In the end, Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Ballas voted to save Rainford and Gu while Anton Du Beke voted to save West and Buswell. As a result, West was sent home.
Reflecting on his time on the show, West told Tess Daly, “When you watch the show at home, you ask yourself what it must be like to dance to it – it’s everything and more, it changed my life .”

Pointing at Buswell, he continued, “This girl has definitely changed my life. To think that I was a shy kid who never spoke to anyone, danced in front of millions, I can’t put it into words. It’s my mum’s favorite series, I took it to Blackpool, my grandma thank goodness always watched over me on this trip.
“But more importantly, this show changed my life in the sense that it gave me confidence, a newfound family… But this girl right here, I’ve been blessed with the best, she is what.” Strict is here and she changed my life, I have no doubt that she will be in my life forever.”
Be sure to come dance continues on Saturday, November 26 at 7:15 p.m.
