“When people ask me what I want to be when I grow up, I say ‘a television actress like my older sister.’

“You are my biggest inspiration and I will never be able to express how proud I am to be your little brother.

“They say that they never work with the family, but on this occasion I would very much like to protest.

“Can’t wait for Lydia to premiere in December, so stay tuned to see what she does!”

He rounded up his sweet message with the words: “Love you Bex.”

She was the first to respond as she replied, “Love you Jacky Man!!”

Telly fans will know Rebecca when she played the young Debbie Gallagher in Shameless from the age of 12.

Debbie eventually left to join the army, but actress Rebecca took a completely different path – joining the BBC series Waterloo Road as Vicki MacDonald from 2009 to 2011, and Gemma Dean in Casualty from 2017 to 2019.

She’s also gone through a very glamorous makeover with her Instagram page filled with summer outfits, gorgeous photo sessions, and days out with her friends.
