A Russian fisherman has discovered a fish that looks exactly like a cheeseburger.

Roman Fedortsov, 39, spends his days working on commercial fishing boats and encounters all kinds of marine life.

He started documenting some of his more unusual finds and posting them on Instagram.

As you might expect, the Internet loves it.

This latest discovery has been dubbed ‘cheesecake with teeth’ by the followers of Fedortsov. And it has garnered almost 12,000 likes.

Besides the cheese fish, he also posted an image of a creature living on the deep sea floor that looks like a cartoon character.

Fedortsov has discovered most of the creatures in the Norwegian and Barents seas north of Russia, but has also found a few strangely shaped beasts in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean.

Despite the odd appearances, Fedortsov himself did not consider them ugly.

He said: ‘In their own right, all these creatures are beautiful.’
