Steve Carell to read the story about a pair of mischievous eyebrows wreaking havoc in CBeebie’s Bedtime Stories

Steve Carell will continue to tell the story of a pair of mischievous eyebrows CBeebie’s bedtime stories tonight (July 1st).
The actor whose credits include The office, moderator and The 40 year old virginis the latest star to sign on for the series.
Carell, 59, will read The eyebrows of fate by Steve Smallman with illustrations by Miguel Ordonez.
The story is a “laugh adventure” about a bear named Dave and his friends trying to stop a pair of eyebrows, who are constantly jumping from one unsuspecting animal to the next, from taking over the world.
Carell said: “I loved reading to my kids when they were younger, so it was such a joy to read a bedtime story for CBeebies about a pair of mischievous eyebrows who wreak havoc – something I’m sure we can all identify with.”
The film star, who shares two children with his wife, actress Nancy Carell, is following in the footsteps of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, British actor Tom Hiddleston and singer Harry Styles, who appear on the show.

Among the youngest story readers is the Duchess of Cambridge, who narrated the modern children’s classic, The owl that was afraid of the darkby Jill Tomlinson, to mark Children’s Mental Health Week.
Steve Carells CBeebie’s bedtime stories The episode will air Friday 1st July at 18:50 on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
