Steelers LB TJ Watt off COVID-19 roster, eligible vs Raven

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Steelers activated star defender TJ Watt off the COVID-19 roster on Saturday, helping to bolster their besieged defense ahead of Sunday’s visit by AFC leaders North Baltimore.
Pittsburgh put Watt on the roster Monday, a day after losing the Cincinnati 41-10 to the Steelers to 5-5-1. He hasn’t trained for the week, away from the team’s facilities as part of the league’s COVID-19 protocol.
Watt’s 12 1/2 is second in the league, and his presence will help Pittsburgh in its bid to keep Ravens defender Lamar Jackson.
While Watt will be available, full-back Joe Haden will miss his third game in a row with a sprained foot. The status of Cam Heyward’s defense is uncertain after he dropped out of Friday’s practice due to illness, although he was not included on the COVID-19 list.
