Small vandals watch for Books by Boba Fett episode four…
In this week’s episode, we get to see the events leading up to Fett’s appearance in Mandalorian – including the quest to reclaim his armor.
We know from Mandalorian Fett’s famous armor will be owned by Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant), who gave it to Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) in the story.
At the beginning of this season Boba Fett, we see the armor protecting Boba as he is consumed by Sarlaac Pitt. It is then stolen by Jawas, while he is captured and enslaved.
In the most recent episode of Boba Fett, we see Fett and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) return to Sarlaac to try and find his armor.
The quest was certainly dangerous, and ultimately fruitless, as Fett’s armor was gone.
However, since he was at least half awake when he left the monster’s belly, there was reason he should have known that his armor would be gone.
Fans expressed frustration with the obvious plot hole on social media, with one viewer writing: “Wow. Boba Fett’s new episode has an incredibly sloppy plot hole. I can’t believe the script editor is still alive.”
Another wrote: “It’s strange that he thinks the armor is in the pit. “Like, wouldn’t he know that he escaped with the armor? Like, how is he going to unscrew it in the pit and let it in? Well, this doesn’t make sense. “
“Has anyone else noticed a major plot hole this week #BobaFett?” asked another viewer.
New episodes of Books by Boba Fett released every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
