Star Wars: Andor trailer surprises Rogue One fans

Star Wars fans are surprised – and relieved – after seeing the trailer for a brand new movie Villain One Precursor.

Andor is a brand new 12-episode series that follows Diego Luna’s character from the 2016 film that will serve as another prequel.

It will take place five years before the events of Gareth Edwards’ film, which ended with the start of the first Star Wars film in 1977 A new hope.

After the mediocre critical response to previous spin-off shows Boba Fett’s book and Obi Wan Kenobiexpectation for Andor was low, with Villain One Enthusiasts feared that a standalone series would not do justice to Luna’s character.

Another concluded, “This is the Star Wars a lot of us have been waiting for,” and one fan wrote, “This series seems absolutely amazing.”
