Stacey Solomon shares a simple hack that spices up boring bathroom appliances with leftover tiles

STACEY Solomon recently unveiled her incredible bathroom makeover at Pickle Cottage with bargains from Dunelm and Amazon.
But now the DIY queen has shown off another bathroom makeover, but this time it’s her toilet brush that she’s given some TLC to.
The former X Factor star knows a thing or two about home renovations, and has used leftover ‘mermaid’ tiles to spruce up an important household appliance.
While many of us will have a toilet brush in our loo, stacey showed that you can instantly spruce up a standard brush in minutes with this simple hack.
The DIY enthusiast revealed her expertise in her best-selling book, Tap to Tidy: Organizing, Crafting & Creating Happiness in a Messy World.
In addition, she even has her own DIY series with BBC, Sort Your Life Out.
The 32-year-old recently updated her fans on her renovations £1.2million Essex At home which she shares with her fiancé, Joe Swash and their children.
But now the former I’m a Celeb star has taken to her Instagram Stories to show off her rather unusual hack for adding a bit of glamor to a bathroom.
Stacey said, “I suppose it’s a way to use leftovers,” as she revealed she’d transformed her plain toilet brush into something “jazzy” using leftover tiles.
She explained: “I just glued them on with leftover tile adhesive.
“Now all I have to do is let it go, then I’ll grout and then I’ll put the same sealer that we put on all the tiles in here so they’re smooth and big dirt can’t get into the grout.”

Stacey was very impressed with her DIY toilet brush and later added, “A lot of you guys are asking what sealer I’m going to use.
“It was good old Steve who told me about it. As soon as he brings it next week I’ll tell you exactly what it is!
“Apparently it keeps your grout from getting dirty”.
The Loose Women star recently revealed she’s complete Transformation of the bathroom and it’s amazing.
She shared a photo of what the room looked like before, with white square tiles on the walls and dark wood cabinets.
Then she posted the bathroom transformation – revealing a mix of marble effect and mosaic tiles.
It’s safe to say that Stacey is very talented when it comes to DIY!
