CHATFIELD STATE PARK, Colo. (KDVR) – Tuesday has been declared as Accurate weather warningst Dayand while most Colombians spend their days at home, others have found creative ways to enjoy the snowy weather.
Jason Clay of Colorado Parks and Wildlife tweeted a video of some brave outdoor enthusiasts enjoying freezing temperatures. Under the canopy of a warm ice hut, some visitors to Chatfield State Park spent the day ice fishing.
While idling temperatures were below freezing all day Tuesday, CPW warning that any ice on reservoirs or ponds is newly formed and thin, and that any huts above the ice should always be anchored and exercise extreme caution at all times.
