Sol Tribe Tattoo reopens on Friday after deadly shooting in December

DENVER (KDVR) – Sol Tribe Tattoos will reopen on Friday, weeks after owners Alicia Cardenas was killed in a shoot spree.

Five people have killed in shootings that spanned Denver and Lakewood on December 27th.

Sol Tribe Tattoo announced on Facebook on Thursday that the store will open on Friday in limited quantities.

“Sol Tribe officially reopens on Friday, January 14. We are temporarily working at limited capacity. Please call or email the shop for more details”, shared Sol Tribe. “If you have an appointment or work in progress and have not received a response from us, we will contact you as soon as possible.”

Alyssa Gunn-Maldonado, 35, was also shot dead at Sol Tribe Tattoo, and her husband, Jimmy Maldonado, was shot and wounded.

“Oh my captain captain. We will try really hard to make you proud and keep your legacy alive. We love you, we miss you, we are distraught,” Sol Tribe Tattoo shared on Facebook on Thursday.
