She is joining the network’s Nigel Clarke for a new show called The Toddler Club, which begins in April.
Gemma is famous for playing Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks, Carly Hope in Emmerdale and Tamzin Bayle in Holby City.
But she’s about to be introduced to a new, much younger generation of TV viewers on CBeebies.
She posted on Instagram today: “Woohoo!!! I can finally let you guys know that I’ve joined @cbeebieshq’s team for her wonderful show @thebabyclubtv.

“This show helped me so much through my first lockdown with Mia so it feels so great to host now!
“To the parents and toddlers who participated, THANK YOU! This show is all about showing all aspects of parenthood.
“No judgement, lots of laughter, snot, crying and tantrums. Basically everyday parenting, which we all master in our own way 🥰.
“Thank you to the team who entrusted me with my role and to @nigelclarketv for the kind reception.
“I hope you enjoy the show and I look forward to joining you and your little ones in your home from April ❤️.”
