Rapper Snoop Dogg revealed he hasn’t given up smoking weed – he’s just partnering with a smoke-free fire pit.

“I have an announcement, I’m quitting smoking,” the rapper, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., darkly said in a brand new interview Advertising on Instagram. “I know what you’re thinking: ‘Snoop Smoke is kind of your thing.'”

But I’m done with it. “I’m done with the coughing and the smelly smell of my clothes,” the “Gin and Juice” wordsmith continued.

“I’m going smoke-free,” Snoop, 52, concludes. “Solo Stove makes fire. They remove the smoke. Clever.”

The video, posted on Monday, has received nearly 2 million likes and hundreds of comments praising the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” singer for his marketing genius.

“You just saw the power of marketing and advertising at literally the HIGHEST level,” one fan shouted with joy.

“You got me bro,” a second person laughed. “Marketing GENIUS.”

“Damn Snoop… used the only thing that was your staple. That people knew you because… and used it to promote an oven,” one user said. “Screw cannabis culture, right? I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed. This is awesome.”

One user tried to reason with those who felt betrayed.

“To everyone who says Snoop cheated on us: At no point did he say he didn’t quit smoking weed,” the user reasoned. “What if he posted his announcement and then this ad deal came about?”

“Even if he still smokes, to everyone who has been inspired to quit smoking, do it for you anyway,” they continued. “You’re worth it. If an entire fireplace can become smoke-free, so can you.”
