Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and actor Armie Hammer were both mocked during the season premiere of for their recent sex scandals Saturday night live.
The pair were portrayed as contestants on a game show titled Send Something Normal. Host Miles Teller, who appeared as game show host Halen Hardy, explained the rules: “The game is very simple. We have four male celebrity contestants and all they have to do is reply to a woman’s DM on Instagram in a normal way. And guys, if you send a normal DM, you’ll win $100 million.”
SNL Actor Mikey Day played Adam Levine, while James Austin Johnson was cast as Armie Hammer. Also in attendance were Kenan Thompson as Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Bowen Yang as himself.
As Levine, Day was prompted to reply to the DM, “Hey Adam, big fan. Love your music.”
“OK. Tough choice. Can I see your favorite vacation photo?” he responded. After seeing a photo of the woman in the bikini, he added, “Okay. Let’s go with a ‘Holy Moly!’ But I have three more. “Holy Moly! Holy shit! Your body makes my penis smile.”
Levine has been at the center of a cheating scandal after an Instagram model named Sumner Stroh claimed she was having an affair with the Maroon 5 frontman.
James Austin Johnson as Hammer, meanwhile, was forced to reply, “Hey Armie, hope you’re alright.”
“Okay, look, I know I’ve been talked about a lot in the press, but I’ve done a lot of work on myself and changed. So I have my message,” he said, before replying, “‘I want to crack open your bones and suck out the marrow.'”
Hammer has repeatedly denied allegations of sexual misconduct made against him.
