Smart mom manages to turn lazy birthday cake into a dog for her crazy daughter… with just ONE move

What do you do when your daughter goes crazy over puppies but you can’t find a dog cake?
Such is the predicament a mother finds herself in before her little daughter’s big day.
But instead of panicking, smart mom Laura Fisher turned to Tesco and found a cake she could customize to fit her daughter’s theme.
In the end, she decided to buy the £11 Sammy the Sloth cake from Tesco, and moved the creature’s tiny arms to the side of its head, before turning them upside down to form a Perfect dog ears.
“My daughter is obsessed with dogs, but finding a chocolate cake for her is quite difficult,” she wrote as she shared pictures of the original cake and a custom one on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group. On Facebook.
“However, Tesco’s sloths are very morphing.”
She was quickly praised by Facebook users for the transformation, with one post: “Amazing!!! I have a dog-obsessed daughter who needs a birthday cake next Thursday! Great idea”.
“Looks a lot cuter the way you rearranged it. What a great idea!” someone else added.
“Great work looks great,” wrote a third. “Sometimes a little imagination goes a long way.”
“That looks really good, it doesn’t do well for mom to take it out and do a quick fix that transforms easily,” another added.
“Bet your daughter loves the cake, looks so pretty, hope she had a really lovely day and loves to celebrate.”
Others point out that dog cakes are available at Sainsbury’s and Asda, but many agree that Laura’s creations are cuter than those sold as dog cakes.
