SHOPPERS mocked John Lewis for selling a whimsical bubble Christmas tree.
The replacement tree is made entirely of balloons and has been shown to divide the crowd quite well on social media.
Word set John lewis contains 108 Christmas yellow, white, green and red balloons as well as cane leaf balloons.
Buyers can order on the tree, which costs £25, with a gold leaf star ball.
However, shoppers will have to assemble the tree themselves when it arrives unwrapped using the clear wire, tape, and glue dots provided in the package.
However, many shoppers were unimpressed with the unusual festive offering, branded as “plastic socks” and “unsustainable”.
