BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Crime in the City of Baltimore flooded the quiet neighborhood of Hampden Sunday night after a shooting on Elm Avenue. The shooting occurred between moving cars and stretched rows of houses, leaving streets covered with shell casings, and damaged homes and cars.
Neighbors said they felt shocked and worried.
When residents first heard commotion outside, they thought it was a noisy truck or someone pulling their trash cans – but instead, it was a shooting. Now, the residents there are considering whether it is safe to be in the city
A Ring camera showed two cars racing against each other on Elm Street in Hampden around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. No injuries have been reported.

Bullet holes damaged houses and cars for 2 blocks
Amazingly no one was injured
Neighbors say they heard gunshots continuously for more than 15 seconds in this quiet neighborhood

“We were both dancing, she screamed, we just stood there for a few seconds not knowing what to do or think,” said Yotam, a resident of Elm Avenue.
Edward Hamer’s car was damaged.
I think someone put it aside,” he said. “I mean shells are everywhere, so know it’s some kind of ammo
Police told WJZ most of the damage was found at the intersection of Elm and 37th Street.
