Shocking moment 77-year-old woman passes TWICE after driver ‘mistakes her for deep snow’

THIS is the shocking moment a woman was run over twice after a driver mistook her for a sleigh.
The 77-year-old pedestrian miraculously survived unscathed after the driver of a car ran over her while backing up from a parking spot.
The strange incident happened in the city of Zelenodolsk in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan at around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Footage from the scene shows the woman standing behind a parked car while letting another pass.
Suddenly, she could see the parked car reversing and knocking her over.
The rear right wheel appears to have passed her, apparently lifting the left rear wheel of the vehicle off the ground.
The car stayed like that for a few seconds before advancing slightly and rolling away from her.
But then, just as the woman seemed to be trying to get up, it reversed her, shoving her back into the snow.
Finally, the car moves again and stops.
Finally, the driver’s door opened and a man stepped out, realizing his mistake.
The footage ends as the driver approaches the woman, presumably to check on and assist her.
The driver, believed to be 64 years old, backed the Ford Kuga out of a parking spot and is said to have failed to see a pedestrian behind the vehicle.
The pensioner was taken to hospital, where doctors were surprised to note that she was barely injured.
They believe that the presence of a significant amount of snow on the road can help avoid what is certain to be certain death.
Authorities opened an investigation into the incident and said the driver had been driving for 22 years but had been fined five times in the past two years for various traffic violations.
