Shelter actress Samantha Bugliaro has just one other acting role to her credit
Samantha Bugliaro is taking on the role of Ashley in Harlan Coben’s Shelter, but what do we know about the actress — from her age and Instagram to her past roles?
Based on the Harlen Coben novel, young adult thrillers like Prime Video’s Shelter not only pack tons of twists and turns, but they’re also the perfect place to catch some of the rising stars of the future, as the cast usually consists of actors who are taking their first steps in the industry, which is exactly the case with Samantha Bugliaro.

Ashley Kent is introduced in the opening moments of the first episode of Shelter.
Like Mickey Bolitar, she is a new student at Kasselton High School and the two are introduced to each other by the popular Rachel Caldwell.
They hit it off when Ashley asks Mickey to meet him at a restaurant after school smooth In response, she asked for her phone number.
However, the rendezvous never happens as Ashley mysteriously disappears and Mickey fears for her safety as she doesn’t reply to his texts and isn’t at school the next day.

Meet Shelter’s Samantha Bugliaro
Actress Samantha Bugliaro will play Ashley in Shelter.
Born on April 11, 2001Samantha Bugliaro is 22 years old at the time of Shelter’s release in August 2023.
Born and raised in New York, Samantha started her acting career just a few years ago, in 2020, while also taking part in some modeling work – most notably in ads for Once Upon A Skirt, a New Jersey-based online fashion store.
Being in New York may have helped Samantha land the role of Ashley, since Shelter was also primarily filmed in nearby New Jersey.
Fans can find Samantha on Instagram under the handle ‘samanthabugliaro.’ She has been active on the social media page since 2018 but recently deleted all of her old posts to start a fresh start.
At the time of writing, Samantha’s account has close to 800 followers, but we expect that number to skyrocket as her acting career progresses.
Samantha’s previous roles
Incredibly, Shelter is only Samantha Bugliaro’s second acting role on screen.
Her first and only other appearance was in 2020 when she had a role in a film called 5th Borough.
Although she’s only just beginning her career, we’re sure Samantha’s role in Harlan Coben’s Shelter will be a springboard for many more things to come.
