Sharon Osbourne says daughter Aimée was ‘lucky’ to ‘get out alive’ from deadly studio fire

Sharon Osbourne has said her daughter Aimée was fortunate to have “made it out alive” from a fire that claimed one person’s life.

On Thursday (May 19), a fire broke out in an industrial building in Hollywood that housed several recording studios. One person died in the fire and two were injured.

Sharon shared a picture of the item on Instagram later in the night, explaining that she and Ozzy Osbourne’s eldest daughter Aimée – who goes by the name Aro – were involved in the fire.

“Today my daughter @aro_officialmusic worked with her producer at a recording studio in this building,” she wrote. “They’re the lucky ones who made it out alive.

“It is absolutely heartbreaking that someone lost their life in this fire today and we send our prayers to that person and their family.”

Sharon continued: “What happened today was beyond appalling. I really hope that the fire safety of buildings like this will be better regulated. This building was a creative hub for music in Hollywood, a space that should have been regulated for fire codes. Producers, musicians, mixers and artists also lost all their equipment.

“Once again, our prayers go out to the family and friends of the person who lost their life in this senseless fire.”

That LA times reports that the fire was at 6600 W Lexington Avenue and that the building was not fully occupied when the fire started.

The fire started on the first floor and spread to parts of the second, with parts of the first floor burning out completely. Sharon Osbourne says daughter Aimée was ‘lucky’ to ‘get out alive’ from deadly studio fire
