Sharon Osbourne has given fans an update on her health since returning home from hospital after suffering a medical emergency on Friday (December 16).
The music executive and TV personality, 70, reportedly fell ill on the set of her son Jack’s new TV special. Jack Osbourne’s Night of Frights, on Friday. She was quickly admitted for treatment.
At the time, Santa Paula Police Chief Don Aguilar confirmed to the US press that the fire department had taken Osbourne to the hospital.
Late on Saturday (December 17), Jack shared the latest on his mother’s health and confirmed she had been discharged from medical care.
“She has been given the all-clear by her medical team and is now at home. Thank you to everyone who reached out with love and support,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
“What happened to my mom — I’ll let her tell her when she’s ready.”
Sharon has now shared an Instagram photo of her husky posing in front of a Christmas tree with the caption, “Back home and he’s fine!”
She added: “Thank you for all of them [love heart emoji]”
Many of Sharon’s fans have posted in the comments of her post telling her how pleased they are to hear that she is doing better.
In 2021, the host announced that she would be retiring from her role as a co-host on the CBS talk show The view.
Her hosting duties for the program ended after she passionately defended boyfriend Piers Morgan’s comments about Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.
Viewers criticized her interaction with former co-host Sheryl Underwood. It was later announced that she had left the show.
In 2022, Osbourne joined TalkTV and hosted a prime time show entitled The conversation.
She has published three autobiographies and two novels.
