Several people were injured in “riots” at the Outer Harbor concert, police say

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) — At least half a dozen people were injured when a chaotic scene unfolded late Sunday night during a music festival in Buffalo’s Outer Harbor, police said.

According to the police, shortly after 10 p.m. riots broke out near the stage. People tried to flee the area, resulting in injuries when the crowd started “pushing and shoving,” an official said.

According to authorities, “at least half a dozen” people were injured in the riot and transported to local hospitals with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

At 10:52 p.m., the police were still on site after the end of the event.
