‘I still shop at Primark despite winning £1.8m’
A woman diner who won the NATIONAL Lotto still lives in her council house, shops in Primark and drives a Kia despite her £1.8 million bag.
Trish Emson, 51, explains money or her millionaire status hasn’t changed her or her partner Graham Norton, also 51, who is still working as a decorator.
The couple even managed to keep their 17-year-old teenage son Benjamin in check – and didn’t even give him pocket money.
The humble mother from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, says: “Being rich doesn’t make you luxurious or better.
“I don’t like to show off, brag about money and I can’t be luxurious anyway.
“Look at me, you wouldn’t think I’m a millionaire, but if I had to dress up I feel fake, I’d prefer my jeans,” she said. Mirror.
