Showing raw emotion during the live shoot, Seriously it’s two, Kai held his head in his hands as he wiped away his flowing tears.

Revealing more details of the practice accident that forced them to leave, AJ tried to appear brave as he told host Rylan: “You know what, we had the best time and in Monday, we had a rehearsal and we were so excited like, “Yeah, we’re going to do jive, we’re going to do Charleston, that’s a way to end our experience.

“My ankle has been given room and my ligaments have been torn and that’s not going to happen. We gutted because we were ready to smash it.

“Obviously this isn’t the way we wanted to hang out, but even just looking back at all those moments, it’s been an absolute pleasure to dance with Kai every week, so thank you. “

Yesterday AJ admitted she couldn’t stand dancing alone when she revealed she was wearing a lingerie bra.

AJ constantly updating fans on her horrific injury that forced her to withdraw from tomorrow night’s Sparkling Serious final.

“The reality is I can’t stand on my feet let alone jump because I’ve torn my spring ligament,” she said.

In a post she calls ‘how it started and how it goes’, she explains all the medical procedures she went through.

The brave star said: “I had an ultrasound, an MRI scan and an X-ray.

“I had two incisions to relieve inflammation around my ankle. I had a local anesthetic injected directly into my foot, I was tied to a compression machine for days.

“I did everything I could to get back on my feet for the @bbcstrictly Finals, I even asked the docs if I could perform in a medical moonboot! “

The Married At First Sight spin-off host expressed gratitude to her dance partner Kai.

She said: “Learning to dance for the past 13 weeks has been an incredible honor and to be able to do it next to such an exceptional, patient and dedicated person as Kai is something I will cherish forever.

“You’re the best @kaiwidd and I know you’re ready to be my crutch on the dance floor coming tomorrow night. Gutted!”

AJ made it into the final top three after impressing the judges week after week with his professional partner Kai.

In the semi-finals, they danced a catchy rumba to Maria McKee’s Show Me Heaven, and fans noted that their chemistry was “off the charts”.

The couple refused to confirm or deny if their relationship was romantic, but it paid off as they fervent on Strict ballroom floor and reached the finals.

The two couples are now going head-to-head to win the Glitterball Trophy.
