Serial killer Stephen Port awarded £136,000 in taxpayer-funded legal aid

SERIAL killer Stephen Port has been awarded more than £136,000 in taxpayer-funded legal aid.

Drug rape beast, 46 years old, was given cash for his trial where he lived convicted of four murders.

He received £56,037 for his lawyer in the lengthy Old Bailey case and £79,734 for his lawyer.

“It’s a huge sum at taxpayer expense,” said a source. Port is a monster.”

It came as an investigation found the “fundamental mistakes” of the Met Police

investigating the death of Port’s first victim resulted in the deaths of the remaining three men.

Port lured them to his London flat and injected them with fatal doses of the aphrodisiac GHB.

IOPC may reopen its probe with 17 officers.

The Met has apologized.
