Sergio Ramos’ wife Pilar Rubio posts a heartfelt message as the Spanish defender celebrates his 36th birthday

SERGIO RAMOS celebrated his 36th birthday in style with his wife Pilar Rubio.

Ramos has endured an injury-riddled season at Paris Saint-Germain and could reportedly end the nightmare a move to LA Galaxy.

The centre-back has only made five appearances in the French capital. only to complete two 90-minute courses.

But none of that mattered on Wednesday as Ramos celebrated the big occasion with his exemplary wife.

Rubio, 44, added snaps of the couple on social media.

One showed the pair partying with electric blue cocktails and bubbly.

The other showed the former real Madrid broadly smiling defender with a birthday cake and burning candles in the form of the number 36.

The caption read: “Congratulations my love.

“We have a lot to celebrate, a lot more than a birthday, but right now I’m only going to steal one wish from you on this day, and that is to wish you many, many more years to come.

“We love you madly.”

Rubio previously designed swimwear for Spanish fashion company Selmark.

The brunette is in a relationship with the former Spanish captain Sergei Ramos since 2012 and the couple have four children together — Sergio Jr., seven, Marco, five, Alejandro, three, and Maximo, nine months old.

The couple married on June 15, 2019 in their hometown of Seville.

Rubio made a name for herself as a Spanish reporter and TV presenter, covering events for the LaSexta TV channel.

In 2007 she won the award for the best TV presenter with Premio Joven.

Rubio is also the author of a self-help book that was published in Madrid last year.
