Scream 6 leaks confirm Samara Weaving’s role and Kirby’s FBI career

After another positive test screening on scream 6, leaks and rumors surrounding the film have found their way onto the internet. We now have some information on what role Samara Weaving could play in the film, as well as confirmation that Kirby Reed is returning to the franchise and embarking on a career path that not many expected.

Samara Weaving will play a college professor in Scream VI

Following the release of the first teaser trailer for Scream 6, a recent test screening confirmed some exciting news about the film. According to Twitter user @SandtJonathan1, Samara Weaving’s character will be a university professor at Blackmore. Meanwhile, Kirby (Hayden Panettiere) returns to the franchise after her debut in Scream 4 and now works as an FBI agent. The claims also suggest that legacy character Gale (Courteney Cox) will play a more prominent role, with Tara (Jenna Ortega) finding love interesting and Chad (Mason Gooding) becoming the “heart” of the film.

Reputable Leaks Account @ViewerAnon confirmed that there had been a test screening and also said that when Kirby and Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) talk about him, the original Ghostface killer Stu (Matthew Lillard) would be there at least as a namedrop. They added that Gale has finally “learned how to dodge a punch.”

Of course, it’s worth taking all of this with a pinch of salt. Leaks may not be entirely accurate, and test screenings are being conducted so changes can be made to the film before the final product hits the big screen. However, with such a positive reaction after the screening, it’s more likely that a lot of this information will prove true when Scream returns to theaters.

Scream 6 will be released on March 10, 2023.
