School shooting in Uvalde, Texas: Beto O’Rourke interrupts Governor Abbott’s press conference 24 hours after the massacre

UVALDE, Texas — Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-Texas, interrupted a news conference by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Wednesday about the shooting at Uvalde and yelled at the current governor before he was escorted out of the auditorium.

“You’re not doing anything … That’s totally predictable if you choose not to do anything,” O’Rourke told Abbott.

O’Rourke, who is running for governor, was escorted out as members of the crowd yelled at him, with a man shouting profanities at O’Rourke.
