“They’re just very invested,” Heughan continued Just for a change. “When I try to choose my words, they are very invested in it. They are really supportive. Everything we do, from the charity work to which we use our voice, they just stand behind it. We’ve received a variety of really interesting gifts, from a box of overripe avocados, homemade peanut butter to a bedspread with my face on it to crochet dolls of myself. So yeah, it’s pretty good.”

“I believe it’s still in my trailer and actually at work,” Heughan said. “Yeah, I’m not sure if they imagine me sleeping with it on, but it’s good to remember who you are when you go to sleep.”

“They should have given me a comforter with their faces on it,” Heughan joked. “You’re just so generous.”

Aside from miscellaneous goods, Heughan calls stranger fans to donate to charity. Heughan hosted My peak challenge for years. He’s grateful for fans getting involved and donating.

As I said, we have received many gifts over the years, but it is mainly the charity work that we do. I have My Peak Challenge, my charity fundraiser, and they just stand behind it. It’s a fitness platform. We have daily workouts, we have mindfulness, yoga, nutrition. As you help yourself, you also help others. We donate 50% of all proceeds to charity. We have now raised over $6 million. Every year we choose a different charity partner to work with. Ultimately, it’s about our peakers. They really banded together and started their own community. We let them make friends, develop new skills, fitness. It was just an incredible journey with them.
