RYANAIR has canceled all flights to and from Morocco until 1 February next year.

On November 29, Morocco announced a two-week ban on all foreign flights, including those from the UK, scheduled to end on December 13.
The Moroccan government says it is suspending all flights abroad to protect Moroccan citizens from the rapid spread of the Omicron variant in Europe and Africa.

Although the Moroccan government has given no indication that the flight ban will continue beyond December 13, Ryanair canceled its flights until February 1.
Ryanair bosses have shared concerns that they don’t know what will happen once the ban is over.
The airline has notified affected passengers and given them the option of a travel voucher, refund or rebooking of their itinerary.
Jason McGuinness, Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We deeply regret this disruption to our passengers to Morocco flights canceled until 1 February 2022. , due to the Moroccan authorities’ lack of clarity on what to expect beyond their original travel ban ruling through December 13.
“Ryanair regrets the unnecessary disruption caused and apologizes to all our passengers for the outcome, which is completely beyond our control.”
This is not the first time Morocco has implemented a flight ban.
Morocco’s decision to cancel flights to the UK has so far affected 160,000 Ryanair customers.
The airline’s decision to cancel all flights until February has left an additional 230,000 Ryanair customers facing disruption to their travel plans.
The UK Foreign Office has suggested travelers contact their airline or tour operator for advice on traveling to and from the UK.
Tour operator Saga has pulled some 2022 mines around the world due to travel uncertainty, with around 3,000 pre-orders affected.
While Eurostar has canceled direct flights to Disneyland Paris until at least March 2022.
