Russian tanks are seen rolling around after Putin ordered the Ukrainian army and recruited medical staff to prepare for “bloodshed”

NGA tanks are moving after Putin is said to have sent troops into Ukraine and recruited medical staff to prepare for “bloodshed”.
Video obtained by Al-Jazeera shows Russian military assets in two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine that Putin recognized as independent states last night – effectively merging them into Russia.
Boris Johnson is chairing an emergency COBRA meeting this morning after the President of Russia ordered his long feared invasion under the guise of peacekeeping.
PM spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to pledge Britain’s steadfast support in the face of Russian aggression.
The world is currently holding its breath after footage of Russian forces was filmed from Makiivka, in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and neighboring Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).
Celebration fireworks were fired and the Russian flag was waved after Putin announced his recognition of both last night.
The rest of Ukraine is now preparing for a major attack from the north, south and east “at any time” after Putin declared the besieged country “part of Russia”.
Today, it was reported that Moscow is urgently looking for doctors to work in makeshift hospitals in Rostov, close to the republics.
One doctor said: “Today we were asked to work at a makeshift hospital in Rostov.
“This is how they say: ‘The pay will be high, your patients will be wounded soldiers’.”
Another paramedic said there was an urgent plea for doctors and nurses “with experience working in conflict zones”.
Putin said in a rambling televised speech last night: “We demand that those who have occupied and are holding power in Kyiv immediately cease all hostilities.
“Otherwise, the Ukrainian ruling regime will be held fully and completely responsible for the possibility of further bloodshed.”
An eyewitness spotted huge columns of troops moving through Donetsk in the direction of Yasinuvata even before he finished his rambling speech.
Sources later clarified that witnesses could not be certain that the soldiers seen were Russian.
But Yasinuvata is just nine miles from the 250-mile World War I-style “line of communication” that has separated Ukrainian and pro-Russian separatists for the past eight years.
The president signed the order before Congress, making Russia the first country in the world to recognize the two small states created when he staged a land grab in 2014.
The last paragraph of his order to parliament said he was giving orders Russian armed forces to “provide peacekeeping operations on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics”.
In an even more alarming development, Russia’s parliament is also said to be approving a plan to build military bases in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk – and stay for 10 years.
Meanwhile, there are many conspiracies about how a top Putin-backed supranational politician on December 27 predicted when the army would enter Ukraine – almost so far.
His words show a clear plan by the Russian authorities that has been in the works since the end of last year.
Firefighter Vladimir Zhirinovsky – currently in hospital recovering from Covid – told parliament that a military operation would begin at 4 a.m. on February 22.
In fact, the first military vehicles were seen a few hours earlier, in the dark, late on February 21.
The leader of the Liberal Democrats told MPs: “You’ll feel it at 4 a.m. on February 22.”
Putin’s Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also admitted that he had been working for “months” to assess how to prevent the economic damage from Western sanctions from recognizing the two regions of Ukraine.
“We have been preparing for months for a potential reaction on the recognition of the LNR and the DPR,” he said during an emergency session of Russia’s national security council as Putin ordered key allies of the country. I oppose this move.
In December, Zhirinovsky told MPs about Ukraine’s move: “I wish 2022 would be a year of peace, but I love the truth.
“I have been telling the truth for 72 years.
“This will not be a peaceful year. This will be the year when Russia will finally become a great country again, and everyone must be quiet, and respect our country.
“Otherwise, they will shut us down, and destroy the Russians first in the Donbas, and then in the west of Russia.
“So let’s support the new direction of Russian foreign policy.”
