United players have returned to full training following the Covid outbreak – amid transfer talks over Erling Haaland, Anthony Martial and Phil Jones.

The Red Devils are adjusting their routines back to normal ahead of Monday’s trip to Newcastle.

Clashes with Brentford and Brighton have fallen victim to the coronavirus in United’s squad and staff, with just seven players present at one stage.

And their Carrington training ground has closed twice.

But now interim coach Ralf Rangnick can prepare well for three Christmas games in eight days.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Rangnick has been linked with Alf-Inge Haaland, whose son Erling is United’s dream transfer target.

Rangnick helped bring the scoring machine to his current club Dortmund when he was RB Salzburg’s director of football.

The head of the Reds is unsettled, Martial is said to want to move to Sevilla instead of Barcelona or Juventus.
