Roger Stone says he ‘hopes QAnon is real’ in The Cult of Conspiracy’

Former President Donald TrumpFamous Roger Stone ally spoke about QAnon in a new documentary, saying he ‘hopes it’s true’.

Brand new documentary Conspiracy cult focus on QAnon – a widespread conspiracy theory that claims there is a group of satanic pedophiles in government, business and the media.

These conspiracy theories are thought to have first started in 2017, after an anonymous user posted a string of messages on the 4chan website, signing them with the letter ‘Q’.

Most recently, the group has made headlines for some of its members’ roles in the January riots that took place on Capitol Hill in the US – landing ‘QAnon Shaman ‘Jacob Chansley sentenced to 41 months in prison back in november.

Film producer Ben Zand met prominent names in the documentary, including Mr. Stone, one of the most important political consultants of the past 40 years. Previously, he worked on the campaigns of Republican politicians including Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and Donald Trump.

Speaking to film producer Ben about QAnon, he said: ‘I don’t know if it’s real, but I certainly hope it is.’

Discussing people who have read about QAnon, he said: ‘If the person wakes up and starts watching alternative media and doesn’t get all their news from CNN – if the person is subscribed and vote, then I think we’ve accomplished something.’

He also added on the nature of free speech: ‘I like the First Amendment. I love people’s right to say whatever they think is right and stand up for them. ‘

The 69-year-old also talks about retired US Army lieutenant-general, Michael Flynn, and Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, who has been adopted as a puppet by QAnon followers – although he was not officially involved.

Stone said that while he hopes Trump will run for President again in the future, he said he hopes Donald Trump’s first national security adviser will run.

Stone in February 2020 was sentenced to more than three years in prison for making false statements, tampering with witnesses and obstructing former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between the campaign. Trump and Russia. Trump pardoned Stone before leaving office.
