The video, shot in Shanghai City on March 29, shows the robotic dog carrying a loudspeaker broadcasting messages on how to protect yourself during the pandemic.
The Robodog was heard telling residents to “wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, check the temperature” and provide further safety instructions.
A local resident sunning himself nearby said he thought it was a drone but later realized it was a robotic dog. He thought it was very fancy as he had never seen it before.
