Roblox hackers exposed for allegedly stealing millions from Robux in Discord Scam

A group of Roblox hacker who allegedly stole over 100 million Robux via a fake Discord server have been debunked by YouTuber Kreekcraft.

In what essentially amounts to a phishing scam, Kreekcraft says the hackers created a fake Scriptbloxian Studios Discord posing as the official server for the developer known for Ninja Legends and Legends of Speed. They have subsequently taken items and Robux from users who believe the discord is genuine. Victims also appear to include other Roblox developers, with some claiming that over 5 million Robux were taken from their accounts as a result of this hack.

How Roblox Hackers Use Fake Discord Servers

According to the video synopsis (posted above), the fake Discord server looks legit as it appears to have almost 40,000 members and a well-organized set of threads. But dig a little deeper and Kreekcraft says many of these members are just bots.

After a user joins the server, it doesn’t take long before one of the moderators appears to DM the potential victim, saying that the user has been banned (sometimes with a rigged screenshot too), and then asking the person for their Roblox authentication code or Telephone asks number for identity verification.

It’s not hard to figure out what’s happening at this point. The hackers take control of the account and steal all the items and Robux tied to it.

At the time of writing this article, this Scriptbloxian Studios discord is still active. Reports of this scam were made as recently as May 2022. So, be sure to keep an eye out for other reports of Roblox hacks and scams, like this one using a broken Chrome extension.
