Rick Ross Changed Artwork for ‘Richer Than I Ever Been’

In three days, Rick Ross will release his eleventh album, Richer than I was, that the Florida MC has been teasing for over a year. While everything is locked and loaded for Friday’s release, Ross is offering a last-minute twist: He’s changing the artwork. The new cover shows Ross from his right side as he looks towards the ground, an image set against a dark green background.

It’s a big change from the old cover, which featured Ross rocking a chic look, consisting of delicate white gloves and a lavish hat, while his hands covered his face. Ross didn’t share why he made the switch, but many people weren’t interested in the original shell, so feedback from it may have prompted him to make the change.

The change happened after Ross shared watchlist for the album, revealing guest appearances from 21 Savage, Jazmine Sullivan, Dream, Willy Falcon, Benny The Butcher, Wale, Future, Yungeen Ace, Major Nine, and Blxst across ten tracks from the album.

You can check out the new cover and review the old cover in the articles above.
