RHOC’s Dawn Ward says the racial abuse trial was the “most stressful and traumatic time of my life”.

The real housewives of Cheshire Star Dawn Ward has thanked fans for their support after being cleared of racial abuse and drug possession.

The TV personality had appeared in court and faced two counts of racial harassment against two Jewish men and one count of cocaine possession.

On Friday (March 25) Ward was acquitted by a jury, after which she burst into tears thanking them.

On Saturday morning (March 26), Ward shared a statement on Instagram thanking her followers for their support after “the most stressful and traumatic time of my life.”

“I have some truly amazing friends and family of different races and religions who have unquestionably supported me and for all of them I will be forever grateful,” she wrote.

“I was found not guilty by 12 randomly selected, conscientious jury who left no stone unturned in their efforts to bring about justice.”

After thanking her attorney, Lisa, Ward continued, “I am still prone to tears and crying as I write this post. I don’t think I’ll ever really get over it.

“Anyone who even remotely knows me knows that I stand for racial, religious and sexual equality, and I will continue to live my life by those values ​​and raise my children to do the same.”

She was joined in the comments by reality TV stars Gemma Collins, who captioned with a heart emoji, and Charlotte Dawson, who wrote, “So proud of you.”

Ward, who also works as an interior designer, was accused of using anti-Semitic slurs against Jake and Sam Jacobs at Euston train station in October 2019.

She denied the claims in court, saying she was instead abused because of her “Botox face” and that she was unaware the men were Jewish.
