Report: West Ham get reply after offer for ‘outrageous’ player, Chelsea lurk

David Moyes’ West Ham United have reportedly made a move for Mohammed Kudus while Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea lie in wait.

Accordingly the athleteWest Ham United and Chelsea are interested in signing Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer transfer window.

The Hammers have made an offer for the Ghana international’s attacking midfielder but Ajax have turned it down.

Ajax want Kudus but the 23-year-old, who was described as “outrageous” by former Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport in September 2022, wants to leave.

The Athletic have reported that Chelsea are also interested in signing Kudus from Ajax in the summer transfer window.

West Ham United or Chelsea could still sign Mohammed Kudus

Although Ajax have turned down an offer from West Ham United for Mohammed Kudus, we believe the Hammers or Chelsea could still sign the 23-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

Anyway, as reported by the athleteAjax had agreed a deal with Brighton and Hove Albion over Kudus earlier in the summer.

So, the Dutch club are ready to sell the playmaker but it’s clear they would ask big bucks for him.

If West Ham or Chelsea eventually decide to pay the transfer fee Ajax are looking for for Kudus, they could be able to sign him.

Kudus made 19 appearances in the Eredivisie and 11 appearances as a substitute for Ajax last season.

The attacking midfielder scored 11 goals and provided three assists in those games.

The 23-year-old scored one goal for Ajax in last season’s UEFA Europa League.
