Report: Nottingham Forest are now looking to sign a £7m Wolverhampton Wanderers player

Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest is now being linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Accordingly The sunNottingham Forest are interested in signing Jose Sa from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window.

The British tabloid’s report claimed Forest were looking to sign Dean Henderson from Manchester United this summer.

However, Henderson is now on his way to Crystal Palace.

As a result, Palace could sell Sam Johnstone in the summer transfer window and Wolves are interested in signing him.

Forest are now reportedly interested in securing the services of Wolves goalkeeper Sa.

The report claimed Wolves could sell Sa at the right price.

Jose Sa should not join Nottingham Forest from Wolverhampton Wanderers

In our opinion, Jose Sa shouldn’t leave Wolverhampton Wanderers for Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.

Forest previously signed USA goalkeeper Matt Turner from Arsenal this summer.

Turner is currently the number one goaltender at the City Ground.

A place in Steve Cooper’s starting grid would not be guaranteed for Sa.

The 30-year-old Portuguese player is Wolves’ first-choice goalkeeper.

And he’s a very good player, too good to be the second-best goalkeeper at any club.

Sa has made 76 Premier League appearances in his career so far.

The goalkeeper kept 23 clean sheets in those games.

Sa has been on the Wolves books since summer 2021 when he joined from Olympiakos for £6.85m (Sky Sports).
