And Pickford, who was described as “incredible” and “fantastic” by Tottenham Hotspur and England centre-back Eric Dier The London Evening Standard in July 2018He is on Chelsea’s radar.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League player sold Edouard Mendy, while Kepa Arrizabalaga joined Real Madrid on loan in the summer of 2023.
Chelsea signed Robert Sanchez from Brighton and Hove Albion and brought in Đorđe Petrović from the New England Revolution.
Everton could be forced to sell Jordan Pickford
The mirror has now reported that Everton could be forced to sell Jordan Pickford in the January transfer window if the takeover is blocked by 777 Partners.
Farhad Moshiri has sold his shares in Everton to 777 Partners, but the takeover is pending subject to approval from the Premier League, the Football Association and the Financial Conduct Authority.
Everton are struggling financially and according to The Mirror, the Toffees could be forced to sell some of their best players in January, including Pickford, Amadou Onana and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, if the takeover doesn’t go through.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Everton, Pickford and Chelsea.
The Toffees are one of the clubs fighting for survival in the Premier League and they simply cannot afford to lose the £110,000 a week (SalarySport) Pickford in the middle of the season.
