Red Hot Chili Peppers pay touching tribute to Taylor Hawkins at Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have paid a touching tribute to the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
When the legendary rock band were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (March 31), each member took a moment to say a few words.
Chad Smith, the group’s drummer, not only used his time to thank their fans for their years of support, but also to celebrate Hawkins, who died March 25 at the age of 50.
“I have to say salute to my brother, Taylor Hawkins, who I love and who we will all miss so much,” he said at the Los Angeles event.
“He would laugh and make a nice comment about this whole thing, and I love him,” Smith joked.
Smith’s tribute joins a number of other celebrities who have also paid tribute to Hawkins, including Paul McCartney and Liam Gallagher.
Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters embarked on a joint American tour in 1999, which sparked a hoax war that later grew into a friendly rivalry.
