Red Bulls are fighting for a draw, but still without a win at home

Patryk Klimala scored in the first minute of second-half added time as the New York Red Bulls were winless at home but drew 3-3 in an action-packed game against Chicago Fire FC in Harrison, NJ on Wednesday night
Klimala scored his third goal of the season against Chicago when he caught a pass from Omir Fernandez and slid through the middle of the box. Klimala then completed the game by firing a left foot shot into the center of the net and scoring his fourth goal of the season.
Klimala’s goal came two minutes after Xherdan Shaqiri gave Chicago a 3-2 lead with a left-footed shot from the center of the box that went to the bottom left corner.
The Red Bulls (5-2-5, 20 points) are only 0-2-4 at home but have improved to 2-0-4 in the last six games.
Lewis Morgan and Cameron Harper also scored for the Red Bulls, who caught up late against Chicago for the second time this season (2-5-5, 11 points)
Chris Mueller and Wyatt Omsberg also scored for Chicago, who were 0-5-3 in their last eight games.
New York goalie Carlos Coronel made three saves while Chicago’s Gabriel Slonina stopped a shot.
New York took a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute when Morgan converted a penalty by burying a right foot shot over Slonina that landed in the bottom right corner.
Müller equalized the game with a spectacular single move. He locked in the ball while he was surrounded by four defenders, went around New York’s Tom Edwards and fired a right footed shot well over Coronel’s head into the top right corner.
The Fire dominated the opening minutes of the second half and went 2-1 four minutes later when Omsberg slipped past Fernandez and headed the ball into the net from the left side of the box following a Jhon Duran header.
Chicago’s lead lasted nine minutes until Harper got a soft pass from Fernandez down the left side of the box and scored with a right footed shot when Slonina huffed on the jump save, allowing the ball to reach the center of the net.
