Rebel Wilson recalls his co-star publicly “pulling his pants down” and prompting them to engage in lewd acts

Rebel Wilson recalls the moment a male co-star tried to ‘destroy’ her and her career.

That Pitch perfect Star opened up about her past experiences while discussing her new Netflix movie senior yearShe explained that she wanted to “make sure there [was] Much respect to everyone” working on the film.

Wilson went on to discuss a moment in her career when she was molested by a male co-star, whom she didn’t name.

“He called me into a room and pulled his pants down,” she said People Magazine.

According to Wilson, he asked her to perform a lewd act in front of his friends. “It was awful and disgusting,” she said.

“And all the behavior afterwards – that was all before MeToo – where they were kind of trying to destroy me and my career,” said the 42-year-old.

She continued, “If it happened after MeToo, I could have just blown her up.”

Wilson said that because she’s an attorney, she knew she needed to call her representative and “get certain things in writing about what happened.”

The actor holds a law degree from the University of New South Wales. She explained that she took steps to make sure “people knew what happened.”

“In any case, I made sure in industry circles that people knew what happened,” she recalls.

Wilson continued to reflect on the situation, wondering why she stayed “with this horrible guy” in this situation.

“I should have gone. It wasn’t worth it. But at the same time I was like, ‘Well, do the right thing, be a pro and finish the movie.’ Now I would never do that,” she said.

“I thought it would be a big step to complain to my agency. And complaining to the studio,” Wilson said, adding that she later found out she was the fourth person to complain about the actor.

“Such disgusting behavior, but a lot of women have been a lot worse off,” she said.
